St. Joseph gets his day
Alter at St. Joseph's Catholic Church
Not to be left out, St. Joseph - who saved Sicily from starvation during the Middle Ages - is widely celebrated in New Orleans. Instead of a second line, he gets goodies, including pastries and bottles of wine, on altars throughout the city
The displays are very beautiful and favorites with the kiddies.
