A great stateswoman's life and passing celebrated New Orleans' style

After seeing this photo, what more needs to be said?

At her mother's funeral last week, journalist and author Cokie Roberts danced in a second line parade alongside grand marshall Jennifer Jones and the Treme Brass Band inside the Cabildo on Jackson Square.

Former U.S. Rep. Corinne 'Lindy' Boggs was well loved in Louisiana and everyone shed a tear. There were eulogies, there were retrospectives, there was even a solo performance by Mayor Mitch Landrieu in St. Louis Cathedral where he warbled "Ave Maria" to no one's great surprise.
